The high temperature in Chico yesterday was 58 degrees; today's high was 65 degrees. Winds were really gusty yesterday, with a gust from the northwest clocking in at 44 mph at the Chico Airport. Winds were still breezy today, but far less so than yesterday. The roller coaster temperature trend will continue, warming to around 70 degrees by Friday before another cold front brings with it below average temperatures for the latter part of the weekend and early next week. Highs on Sunday will only get to the upper 50s. There will be a chance of rain showers Sunday through next Wednesday as a series of small disturbances affect our weather.
