still nice weather ahead

This weekend was absolutely spectacular, with sunnys skies both yesterday and today and highs in the mid 70s. Last Friday was mostly cloudy, with some spits of rain and highs right around 70 degrees. That will likely be our last chance for rain for awhile. Sunny skies will continue this work week and temps will gradually increase. However, highs should stay below 90 degrees through next weekend. It could be much hotter this time of year, that's for sure. I'm loving this relatively mild weather! I know many people in the Intermountain West wish they could have our weather. Utah and Colorado are getting hit hard with numerous wildfires and searing heat. Again, I'm thankful for the weather we're having. Here is Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service: Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 6 mph. Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. South southeast wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 13 and 16 mph. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. South wind 5 to 13 mph becoming east. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 83. North northwest wind between 3 and 9 mph. Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 56. Northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 58. Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 61. Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 89.
