continued hot

Yesterday's high temperature at Chico Airport was 93 degrees under clear, sunny skies. The rest of this week will stay above 90 degrees as high pressure reigns over our area. In fact, this weekend looks like we could possibly reach 100 degrees for the first time this year. We shall see. Temps will cool down into the 80s by early next week. Here are the details for Chico from the National Weather Service: Today: Sunny, with a high near 93. North northwest wind between 5 and 7 mph. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 62. North northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 92. North northwest wind between 7 and 9 mph. Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 61. North northwest wind around 6 mph. Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 93. Northwest wind between 3 and 7 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 94. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. Saturday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 98. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 96. Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Monday: Sunny, with a high near 89.
