Still Hot

Yesterday's high temperature in Chico was 102 degrees, making June 15th the hottest day of the year so far. It may not get as hot today or tomorrow, as the National Weather Service has revised the temperature forecast downward. Highs today and tomorrow will only top out around 101 degrees, instead of the 103-105 degrees they were forecasting. Still, it's going to be hot, so take precautions to keep yourself cool this weekend. By Tuesday, look for refreshing highs in the upper 80s. Most of next week will see see-sawing temps in the low to upper 90s. Sunny skies will rule, as is the case this time of year. Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 64. South southeast wind between 9 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Monday: Sunny, with a high near 92. South wind between 3 and 8 mph. Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 94.
