warm and dry weather continues

This is becoming a disturbing trend- warm, dry weather at the peak of the rainy season. January, on average, is the wettest month of the year for Chico. However, there is no rain in sight for at least the next seven days. Plus, wildfires (!) are a concern this weekend as strong northwesterly winds blow, warming and drying out the air. Wildfire concerns in January- who'd have thought? The forecast is pretty simple for the next week: sunny, mild days and clear, chilly nights. High temperatures will hover in the low to mid 60s, while lows will bottom out around freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit, or 0 degrees Celcius). Oh, well. At least you can get out and do some outdoor activities this weekend!
