sunny and very warm this upcoming week

It has been warm the past couple of days in Chico, with Thursday's high temperature reaching 89 degrees and yesterday's high at 86 degrees. Chico should be right around 86-87 degrees for mid- June , so it hasn't been too terribly hot lately. Dry, sunny weather should continue the next seven days (as is typical this time of year). High temps this weekend should be nice- mainly in the upper 70s to lower 80s due to marine air coming in from the Delta to our south. Next week looks very warm, with highs creeping into the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. All in all, though, not too hot for this time of year. The all time record high temperature for June in Chico (unofficially) is 115 degrees, so I'll take highs in the low 90s over 115 degrees any day! Enjoy the weekend! Here's the latest seven day forecast for Chico from the National Weather Service:
