SACRAMENTO VALLEY...NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY...NORTHERN SAN
JOAQUIN VALLEY AND SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY.
* FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON
* A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM FROM OFF THE PACIFIC WILL BRING HEAVY
RAIN TO THE REGION TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY. ONE TO ONE AND A HALF
INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEY THROUGH SUNDAY.
STRONG SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL ENHANCE RAINFALL ALONG THE WEST
SIDE OF THE VALLEY...INCLUDING THE FAIRFIELD AND VACAVILLE
AREAS...WHERE 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN OR MORE WILL BE POSSIBLE.
* HEAVY RAIN WILL LEAD TO RAPID RISES ON SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS
