more big storms coming?

There's no confirmation yet (as if these storms were invited to a party, or something), but the forecast right now states that rain is likely for most of next weekend. We'll just have to wait and see what the future holds. I expect the National Weather Service to issue a Special Weather Statement (capitalized because it's important) over the next couple of days. For now, enjoy today's sunshine while it lasts, because it's not coming back for awhile. Gray, cloudy, showery weather will begin tomorrow and persist throughout the work week as weak storms move through the Northstate. Temperatures will be mild, as fairly warm Pacific air is brought in with each storm. The end of the week and next weekend may get interesting. Stay tuned.
