No, I'm not talking about a sleet/ice/rain mix. I'm talking about a mix of clouds, sun, and rain for the valley, while the mountains see clouds and snow showers over the next several days. Currently in Chico it's spitting rain, with some breezy winds at times. Otherwise, it's overcast and chilly, with temps stuck in the 40s. Expect off-and-on showers throughout the day in Chico, while the Sierra Nevada mountains to our east will see scattered snow showers. Another fairly potent storm will begin to affect the area Sunday night and linger into Monday. The chance of rain tapers off by Tuesday, and by midweek we should see a return to sunny, dry conditions. Again, this forecast could change, so check back for updates.
