the calm after the storm

We finally got a break from the past four days of non-stop stormy weather. Today has been overcast and chilly, but the rain and wind have almost completely disappeared. More showery weather is expected later today and tomorrow, but the first half of the weekend (Saturday) should be dry. The rain returns Sunday into Monday, with chances of rain through midweek. Temperatures in Chico should be in the low to mid 50s, while lows will stay in the upper 30s/ low 40s. Enjoy the break in the weather while it lasts!
