Just as I predicted- the National Weather Service posted a Special Weather Statement less than half an hour ago warning of the possibility of heavy rain and snow for the Northstate by the end of the week. Stormy, wet weather may stick around through early next week. Early computer models are suggesting the valley may see 1 to 3 inches of rain, while the mountains may receive 1 to 3 feet of snow between Thursday and Saturday. However, winds are not expected to be as strong as they were two weeks ago. Who knows; before this rainy season is over Chico may end up with a surplus of rain!
