drying trend setting up

After some showers on Thursday night and Friday morning, a long drying trend will entrench itself over Northern California. Tomorrow looks to be mild and sunny after some morning fog, and the weekend looks spectacular. This upcoming trend of mild temperatures will really get the trees and flowers blooming in Chico. Spring is here! I'm sure residents of the east coast, particularly those who live in Washington, DC, wish they could say that right about now. That region is expected to be smacked with over a foot of snow the next 24 hours. DC already got blasted with over 2 feet of snow this past weekend, and now have to contend with more snow tonight and tomorrow. I don't envy them one bit! Here's the forecast closer to home from the National Weather Service:
