lovely spring-like weather

Happy Valentine's Day! Yesterday was very nice weather-wise in Chico. The high temperature made it to 63 degrees (three degrees above average), with some hazy sunshine (mainly due to high thin cirrus clouds rather than pollution) and light winds. That trend looks likely to continue as high pressure begins to exert itself over the region. There is a slight chance of rain on Tuesday; otherwise, other than some patchy morning fog, it looks sunny through at least the middle of next week. My sweetie and I went to Sicilian Cafe in Chico last night to celebrate Valentine's Day. It was a lovely evening, and the restaurant was busy. Sicilian Cafe is one restaurant I highly recommend to both out of town visitors and those who have lived in Chico for years. It is a fine dining experience, with professional wait staff and consistently delicious food. It is one of the gems of the Chico restaurant scene. Here's the latest forecast for Chico from the National Weather Service:
