It looks like it'll be wet for New Year's Eve celebrations in Chico Thursday night. Bring an umbrella if you don't want to get wet. It appears to be unsettled through Friday as a few weak systems move through. The weekend and early next week look fabulous (even though there's a slight chance of rain, it'll also be partly cloudy). I guess the stormy pattern Accuweather predicted will not occur. Sigh. I want some stormy weather! (You can picture me with my arms folded and stomping my feet.) Currently showers are moving through Chico, and the temperature is holding in the mid 40s. It's kind of a raw, damp evening. It definitely feels like winter.
