Today was a beautiful day in Chico, with sunny skies and a high temperature of 62 degrees. I was out and about doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, and the traffic around the Chico Mall was crazy! Maybe the Christmas shopping season will be a little better than last year. Anyway, other than some online Christmas gifts en route right now, I am done with my Christmas shopping! And, I'm also done with this semester of school. I am in the Masters of Social Work program at Chico State University, and today was the last day of finals for the fall semester. I'm looking forward to the break! The weather should be fine for the next several days of my break (awkward segue, I know). The exception will be Sunday into Monday as a fairly weak storm moves through Northern California. We'll see some rain for those two days, but by Tuesday it should clear out, and it'll be lovely through Christmas Day. Of course, the forecast could always change, but for now, much of next week looks very nice. Here is the official seven day Chico forecast from the National Weather Service:
