spectacular weather ahead

It doesn't get much better than this: sunny skies and high temperatures in the 70s and 80s. That's what we can expect for Chico the next seven days. It will be a bit on the breezy side this weekend as northerly winds may gust up to 25 mph at times. Other than that, it will be gorgeous; get out and enjoy this great weather! Also, if recreating at one of our many bodies of water (Sacramento River, Feather River, Chico Creek, Butte Creek, Lake Oroville), use caution as the waters are running quite cold this time of year due to snowmelt in the mountains. For other ideas on what to do this weekend, check out the Chico News and Review link to the right-hand side of my main page. Here is Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service: Today: Sunny, with a high near 82. North northwest wind between 8 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 57. North northwest wind between 7 and 13 mph. Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. North northwest wind between 7 and 9 mph. Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Light and variable wind. Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph. Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 79.
