perhaps 80 degrees by the end of the week?

This weekend has been gorgeous weatherwise, with just a few clouds and high temperatures both yesterday (Saturday) and today (Sunday) in the lower 70s. The work week ahead should be equally as nice, with highs tomorrow (Monday) through Wednesday in the lower 70s. High temps on Thursday should reach or eclipse the 80 degree mark, while highs Friday through next Sunday will hover in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Sunny skies and clear to partly cloudy nights will rule the weather in Chico the next seven days, so no need to carry that umbrella. Just make sure you have the shades and wear light-weight clothing (perhaps a jacket in the morning). Here is Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. South wind at 5 mph becoming northeast.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south southeast between 4 and 7 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Southeast wind around 6 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south between 4 and 7 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. South southeast wind between 6 and 8 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.
