no foolin- the sun returns today

Yesterday was nasty in Chico, especially during the morning. Winds gusted to nearly 40 mph with heavy rain at times. By late morning the rain had subsided, and the sun came out briefly before the clouds and scattered showers returned. Fortunately, there was no severe weather or hail. The clouds will slowly exit our area this morning, and the afternoon should be sunny. There could be some patchy fog this morning, so be aware. Otherwise, expect sunny and dry weather the next three days. There will be a weak storm moving through Tuesday night into Wednesday, but the end of the week looks dry. High temperatures will be below normal all week, with daytime highs only in the upper 50s to upper 60s (we should be in the lower 70s for early April). At least the sun will shine! Here's Chico's seven day outlook from the National Weather Service:
