gorgeous fall weather

Yesterday and today have been absolutely spectacular, with highs in the mid 70s and wall-to-wall sunshine. The visibility has been excellent, and you can see some of the snow-dusted peaks of the Coast Range and the Sierra Nevada from Chico. Plus, some of the trees are beginning to show their fall colors. It's just a matter of time before there will be a sea of orange, gold, and red all over Chico. Also, it may be too late to remind people of this, but the annual Parade of Lights is happening right now in downtown Chico. If you're going, bring a jacket or sweater as temps will fall into the lower 60s this evening. Other than a slight chance of rain on Monday, the next seven days look wonderful. Temperatures will warm into the mid 80s by Thursday, but cool back down into the 70s by next weekend. Hopefully we can say goodbye to the 90s for the rest of the year!
