The current temperature in Chico is 79 degrees. Not a record, but about 13 degrees above the average for today. Earlier this week, I was predicting that Chico would reach 80 degrees. Today we are so close, but we may not get there. Still, I'm only one degree off of my prediction- not bad for someone who does this as a hobby. Of course, this is one of the few times I've been close to being correct. Anyhoo, it looks like the temps will cool off from the past few days' high temps. So, instead of the mid to upper 70s, it'll slip into the lower 70s. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40s. Oh, speaking of low temps, this morning's low in Chico was 38 degrees. But that's not the amazing thing (well, amazing for me, anyway). Between 8am and 9am, the temperature in Chico jumped from 38 degrees to 52 degrees- 14 degrees in one hour! Pretty amazing. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southeast wind between 3 and 7 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 72.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 44.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 73.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 72.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.
