big change to the forecast

Good news! This weekend and much of next week won't be wet and dreary, after all. In fact, it'll be quite the opposite (with a couple of exceptions). Most of the next seven days will be partly to mostly sunny. The two exceptions will be Monday and Wednesday, but even those two days will see only slight chances of rain. It looks like the rainy season, and El Nino, are beginning to wind down a bit. However, Chico and much of California are still in a drought. We would need several El Nino-type winters just to catch up to average. One El Nino will not do it. But, if you are getting tired of wet, dreary days, you're in luck! Here's the updated weather forecast for Chico from the National Weather Service:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 57. North northwest wind between 3 and 7 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph.
