It has been cool, cloudy, and breezy throughout the day today as a weakening storm system moved through the area. The high temperature today in Chico only made it to 59 degrees. That's a stark contrast to just 48 hours ago, when the temp was 76 degrees. The weekend looks fabulous, but prepare for some big changes as a series of fairly strong storms affect our weather beginning early next week and lasting through the end of next week. The valley could see several inches of rain, while the mountains may see up to three feet of snow with these upcoming storms. Of course, the forecast could always change, so check back for updates.
