What is up with this weather? I thought it was going to be nice and dry through the entire Memorial Day weekend. However, that was not the case, with thunderstorms dropping hail on Saturday evening, and cloudy and windy conditions yesterday. Today has been just plain dreary, with off and on rain showers and temps stuck in the 50s. Yuck! Unfortunately, the chance for showers and/ or thunderstorms persists through most of this week and into this weekend. High temperatures are expected to stay 15 to 20 degrees below average every day this week, only rebounding to near average by the middle of next week (average is around 85 degrees for the beginning of June). Perhaps we won't have a summer this year. Here are the wet details for Chico from the National Weather Service:
