Here's the latest update on tomorrow's potentially stormy weather from the National Weather Service:
A VERY COLD AND UNSTABLE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MAY BRING STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE VALLEYS SUNDAY. THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTAIN
HAIL...BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
WINDS. TEMPERATURES ABOUT 15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL CAN BE EXPECTED.
IN THE FOOTHILLS SNOW LEVELS MAY DROP BETWEEN 2500 TO 3000 FEET
SUNDAY. THUNDERSTORMS COULD CAUSE "SOFT HAIL" OR SNOW PELLETS TO
ACCUMULATE ON AREA ROADWAYS. UP TO AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW MAY
ACCUMULATE NEAR 3000 FEET BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
BE PREPARED FOR STORMY WEATHER SUNDAY. MONITOR THE WEATHER AS YOU
MAKE YOUR WEEKEND PLANS. WATCH FOR HEAVY RAIN OR HAIL ON AREA
ROADWAYS AND TAKE SHELTER IF A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHES.
