The past couple of days in Chico have been sunny and dry, with breezy conditions. High temperatures yesterday and today have ranged from 60-62 degrees. Winds the past two days have been from the north/northwest between 15-25 mph, with occasional gusts over 30 mph. The winds should begin to subside over the next 24 hours as high pressure builds in. Wind flow will still be out of the north generally, but winds will be lighter. Highs the next several days will be mainly in the 60s, with lows in the 30s. Keep your fingers crossed for some rain chances early next week as there are some hints of a pattern change. Right now it looks uncertain as far as precipitation, but hopefully it'll look more certain as we get closer to the actual timeframe.
