rain tonight and tomorrow

A fast-moving storm will bring breezy and wet conditions to the Sacramento Valley tonight and tomorrow. Precipitation amounts will range from a tenth to a third of an inch in the valley. In the mountains, expect 5 to 10 inches of snow above 4000 feet by tomorrow afternoon. Winds from the southeast should generally be in the 10-20 mph range. Low temperatures tonight should bottom out in the mid to upper 30s in Chico. Highs tomorrow will only be in the upper 40s (normal highs this time of year should be in the lower 60s). This storm should clear the area by tomorrow afternoon, just in time for the Christmas Preview in downtown Chico. Stay safe and dry!
