Dense Fog Advisory and Wind Advisory info

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PST WEDNESDAY. THE WIND
ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM WEDNESDAY TO 6 PM PST
THURSDAY.

* WINDS...NORTHERLY 25 TO 40 WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH.
STRONGEST WINDS OVER THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE VALLEY.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. SOME LOCAL POWER OUTAGES POSSIBLE. LOOSE
OBJECTS OUTDOORS WILL NEED TO BE SECURED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 40 MPH
ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...
ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE
BETWEEN YOU AND THE CAR AHEAD OF YOU.
