warming up

Sigh. I knew this very pleasant fall weather wouldn't last. It rarely does this time of year. As I said in my earlier post, October is a month of transition weather wise here in Chico. One day can be summer-like with blazing heat, the next it can be chilly and showery. The weather's inconsistent, in other words. The next seven days are an example of this. Currently in Chico under mostly cloudy skies the temperature is 71 degrees. However, by the end of the weekend, temps will be back up to near 90 degrees. It looks like the above average temps will stick around for much of next week, as well. Time to put the jackets and sweatshirts away and pull the shorts back out. Let's see, the big events happening this weekend in Chico are the continuation of Artoberfest and the beginning of the Chico Experience Week. For more info on both, check out the links to the right.
