dreary weekend followed by beautiful week

Yesterday was downright dreary in Chico, with temperatures stuck in the 50s and off-and-on rain showers. I volunteered to participate in the Multicultural Community Collaboration Festival in Bidwell Park yesterday, and I was wet and cold most of the time. Even when it wasn't raining, the wind would shake the moisture off of the towering oak trees above us, soaking everything below. Good news, though- the next six days (at least, if not longer) look absolutely wonderful! There's a chance we may see 80 degrees by the middle of the week! The fall colors are in abundance in Chico right now, so get out there and take some beautiful pictures (I am). Oh, and I almost forgot: Happy Halloween! Conditions should be dry for later today, so no need for any wet weather gear over those costumes. Have fun, and stay safe!
