stormy weekend ahead

Today has been gray and overcast, with some light sprinkles of rain. Temperatures have been stuck in the 50s and lower 60s all day today, and the weather is expected to worsen over the next 24-36 hours. Moderate to heavy rain will invade the Sacramento Valley and surrounding foothills tomorrow night and into Sunday, while the highest mountain peaks are expected to receive several inches of snow.
