another day, another storm
I only have a little bit of time to talk about today's stormy weather before I have to get ready for a long day at school. The Wind Advisory issued yesterday for Chico has now been extended into this evening-9pm will be when it will expire. Expect southerly winds up to 35 mph. A Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra east of Chico is in effect until 1am tomorrow for elevations above 4000'. Six to twelve inches are possible above that elevation, with over a foot possible above 7000'. Expect a quarter to nearly a half inch of rain in the valley with this quick- moving storm. Another storm is expected on Easter Sunday, but it dries out and warms up by midweek next week. High temps today through Monday will only be in the low to mid 50s. Temps warm into the mid 60s to around 70 for the middle of next week. Gotta go!
