The warm weather streak continues for Chico, with three days in a row of abnormally warm temperatures. Yesterday's high in Chico was 81 degrees, while the current temperature is 80. We should be around 68-69 degrees for early April. I have some sad news, and it's no April Fools' joke: if you have enjoyed the warm weather of late, don't get used to it. It is going bye-bye next week. Tomorrow we'll see more clouds than sun, with just a slight chance of showers. Temps will be seasonable tomorrow and Sunday, and the sunshine returns for the second half of the weekend. Monday and Tuesday look gorgeous, with sunny skies and nice temperatures. However, a fairly strong trough of cooler and unsettled weather will affect us beginning around the middle of next week. At that time, we'll see an increase in shower activity and below normal temps for both highs and lows. In the near-term, the weekend doesn't look too bad, so get out and enjoy some outdoor activities. My hubby and I will probably get to some long-neglected yard work this weekend.
