gorgeous week ahead

Today was absolutely stellar, with sunny skies, light northwesterly (read: dry) winds, and warm temperatures into the lower 70s. Basically take today's weather and multiply it by seven, and you have Chico's forecast. Oh, and add 5 to 8 degrees to today's high temperature. There are no storms or rain showers on the horizon, so if there's any spring cleaning or yard work you've been dying to get to, but couldn't because of the soggy weather we've had the past few weeks, well, this is the week to do these activities. Or, if you'd rather do some fun outdoor activities, such as play a round of golf or tennis, go for a hike in the nearby foothills or mountains, or ride your bike in Bidwell Park, then the weather will definitely cooperate for these activities, as well. Just get out and enjoy! Here is Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Light south wind.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. North northwest wind around 13 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 69.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 47.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 75.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 80.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53.
