Yes, it will be warm, but temps will be around average for late July/ early August. Besides, it could be hotter. Highs this weekend and into next week will hover between 92-95 degrees (normal temps for this time of year are 93-94 degrees). Mornings will be chilly- in the upper 50s to low 60s. This morning's low was 57 degrees- definitely sweater weather! The normal low this time of year is around 61 degrees. No major events will be happening in Chico this weekend. It's sort of the quiet time before college students once again flood this little college town in three weeks. Chico's resting up in preparation for the deluge.
