After a nice morning low of 58 degrees, the high temperature in Chico shot up to 94 degrees (which is actually right where we should be the 1st of August). Now I'm watching the sun set as I type this blog entry. Another day done. I can't believe it's August already! Chico State starts classes three weeks from tomorrow, while Chico Unified School District students return to school August 11th. I remember when I was in high school- we didn't return until after Labor Day. Of course, we also didn't get out for summer break until early June, either. My point is, summer is beginning to wind down, and it'll be fall before I know it. The leaves will be turning into their beautiful shades of crimson, gold, and orange, while temps will begin to cool off into the 60s and 70s. I can't wait! Anyway, have a good week.
