perhaps some rain by next week?

Interesting weather trivia: Chico has had only one year since 1906 with no precipitation between November 24th (the date of the last time it rained in Chico) and December 14th (the next time we may see some rain). This year may be the second time since 1906. It's very unusual this time of year for Northern California to not see measurable precipitation. Hopefully we'll see some by the middle of next week. Until then, enjoy the cold, clear nights and mild, sunny days. Here's Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: Areas of frost after 4am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 32. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph.

Friday: Areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 57. North northwest wind between 3 and 5 mph.

Friday Night: Patchy frost after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 32. Light northeast wind.
