fabulous Memorial Day weekend
Well, after enduring day after day of chilly, sometimes wet weather, Chicoans will enjoy abundant sunshine and above normal temperatures this weekend. First, we have to get through today and tomorrow. Today there will be scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible (very isolated, however), with highs only around 60 degrees (we should be around 83 degrees by now). Tomorrow there is a risk of a morning shower; otherwise, it'll be dry, with a mix of clouds and sun. Expect mid 70s for highs tomorrow. Ah, but here's the best part: Beautiful sunny skies and temps in the low to mid 80s for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of next week. Now this is more like it! We can finally break out the shorts, shades, and suntan lotion and relax on the lake or go hiking in the mountains. I, myself, am going camping this weekend down in Napa County. I'll be back next Monday. So, until then, enjoy this holiday weekend's weather!
