Chico received eighteen hundredths (.18) of an inch of rain yesterday. It was cool and cloudy with intermittent rain, and today continues the cool and cloudy trend that will persist through tomorrow. By the weekend, we should see drier, warmer weather as high pressure builds in behind the next cold front expected to arrive tomorrow. It will be weak, though, so expect only a slight chance of rain. This deep trough that is bringing in the cool, unsettled weather will continue to effect our weather through early next week, so expect the below average temperatures to linger for awhile.
