becoming sunny and very warm this week

Once this area of showers moves out later this morning, the sun should return and temperatures will warm up drastically. Some locations in Butte County have seen anywhere from a half an inch to well over an inch with this slow-moving storm. Most of the wet weather has now moved to the southeast of Chico. As I already stated, the sun should come out later today, with highs near 70 degrees. Temps are expected to increase as the week progresses, with lower 70s tomorrow, mid 70s Wednesday through Friday, and near 80 degrees by this weekend. It will feel more like early May than mid-March! Here's Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service: Today Showers likely before noon. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 68.
