update on the thunderstorms

From the National Weather Service: AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE IN THE VALLEY AND SURROUNDING FOOTHILLS THROUGH THE EVENING. THE STORMS ARE WIDELY SCATTERED THROUGH THE REGION...WITH STORM CELLS AT 245 PM NEAR THE TOWNS OF TRACY...LATHROP...NEWVILLE...HIDDEN VALLEY...AND GUINDA. REMEMBER ALL THUNDERSTORMS ARE DANGEROUS WITH POSSIBLE HAIL...HEAVY RAIN...LIGHTNING...AND GUSTING WINDS. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
