Nice weekend weather, and some events happening in Chico

It will be a wonderful weather weekend in Chico, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and partly sunny skies. There is still some uncertainty about the next storm that is forecast to arrive around Tuesday of next week. Continue to stay tuned for updates. A couple of events happening in Chico this weekend include the annual Spring Home and Garden Show at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, and the annual Chico Bach Festival, which concludes tomorrow with this special concert (details courtesy of Chico State's Department of Theater and Music's Facebook page): Chico Bach Festival: The Glorious Baroque Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Harlen Adams Theatre The North Valley Chamber Chorale and CSU, Chico music students perform music of Bach and his Baroque contemporaries in this eclectic concert. Works by Bach, Handel, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, Pergolesi and others will be featured. Advance tickets, at $15 general, $13 senior citizens, and $6 students/children, are available at the University Box Office, corner of Second Street and Normal Avenue.
