warm and dry

Yesterday in Chico was cool and wet (high temperature of 63 degrees and .47" of rain), while the next several days will be warm and dry. Today's high under partly sunny skies was 68 degrees (perfect fall weather), and it'll just get warmer from here. By Monday the high may climb into the lower 80s! The next chance of rain may arrive by the end of next week, with highs ratcheting down to the mid 60s, which is right about where we should be for the first week of November. By the way, the fall colors are absolutely gorgeous right now in Chico. The elms, ashes, sweetgums, pistaches, walnuts, maples, tulip trees and locusts are all showing off their brilliant shades of red, orange and gold along Chico's streets and neighborhoods. I just love this time of year! This weekend is going to be beautiful; take a walk around Chico and admire nature's beauty! Here is Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service: Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 46. Light north wind. Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.
