warm and blustery

That's how today's weather has been in Chico, with temperatures hovering in the mid 80s and winds from the northwest between 15 and 25 mph. The winds should die down once the sun sets, but the warm weather will become hotter over this weekend. High temps both Saturday and Sunday will creep into the mid 90s as high pressure builds in over Northern California. High temperatures will ease just a bit heading into next week, but only by a few degrees. As usual this time of year, there is no rain in the seven day forecast. Here is that seven day forecast for Chico from the National Weather Service: Tonight: Clear, with a low around 55. North wind between 5 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Northwest wind around 7 mph. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. Southwest wind at 6 mph becoming east northeast.
