Cool being a relative term. Still, it has been a cooler than usual summer in Northern California. Both Chico and Sacramento have reached 100 degrees or more just five times so far this year! There have been no 100 degree days in Chico so far this month. This cooler than usual trend will continue for the next seven days. In fact, high temps in Chico next week will only be in the mid 80s! We should be around 92 degrees this time of year. Thank a stronger than usual Delta breeze and a persistent trough of low pressure in the Northern Pacific for this nice weather.
