blessed relief coming

After a scorching hot 104 degree high yesterday, today has been ten degrees cooler in Chico. The high temperature so far today has been 94 degrees. Still hot, but not as hot as it has been. Plus, there's good news for those ready for some heat relief- temps will fall back into the 70s by early next week. Whoo-hoo!! This weekend will be the transition, as temps will fall slowly from the mid 90s tomorrow to the mid 80s by Sunday. The temps warm back up into the 80s by the middle of next week, but at least we're done with the triple digit heat for awhile (hopefully for the rest of the year!).
