High Fire Danger
Please be careful if you have outdoor plans today. From the National Weather Service:
RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PDT THIS EVENING
FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND BREEZY NORTH WINDS BELOW 1000 FEET
FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 215...216...217...218 AND 219...
* AFFECTED AREA...THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY, NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN
VALLEY AND DELTA BELOW 1000 FT.
* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS 35 TO 45 MPH.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...POOR HUMIDITY RECOVERY VALUES LAST NIGHT
DROPPING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS AGAIN.
* IMPACTS...LOW HUMIDITY ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND DRY FUELS
WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON WITH INCREASED LIKELIHOOD OF RAPID SPREAD OF ANY
FIRE STARTS.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE OCCURRING NOW. A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE
