Cool for the first weekend of summer

Is it June or April? Showers are in the forecast today for Chico and high temperatures will only be around 70 degrees. That's nearly 20 degrees below average! Temps will warm into the mid 70s this weekend and continue below average through Tuesday. Highs will return to normal by the middle of next week. Weird weather we're having- there's an unrelenting heat wave in the nation's midsection, while we here in Northern California are experiencing spring-like temps in June. Strange!
