After a dreary and foggy start to the day today, the sun peeked out from the clouds late this morning. The temperature responded, jumping from the lower 60s into the upper 70s. Chico received nearly an inch of rain from yesterday's storm, but dry weather returns and will stick around through early next week. A nice warm up is in store, as well, as temps climb into the mid 80s by Thursday. Temperatures will cool slightly for the weekend, but 70s are very nice this time of year, so no complaining from me! More trees in Chico are transforming into their fall finery, especially the Chinese Pistache and sweetgum trees. I just love this time of year- fall colors, cooler weather, football, hayrides, and Halloween decorations. To me, only Christmas exceeds this time of the year.
