This is the time of year in these parts where you need to dress in layers. Start out with a coat or jacket, and then peel off layers of clothing as the day wears on until you end up with a short sleeve shirt. The low temperature this morning out at the Chico State Farm south of town was a cold 37 degrees! Lows in the region ranged from the upper 30s to lower 40s this morning. By this afternoon, many locations were seeing temps in the lower to mid 70s. This trend will continue for the next seven days- chilly nights followed by sunny and mild afternoons.
