Chico has received 3.18 inches of rain the past two days. To put that in perspective, Chico receives about 4.5 inches for the entire month of December on average. That is impressive! Rain will continue for Chico today, tonight, and tomorrow as another storm moves in. A Wind Advisory is up until noon today for southerly winds sustained at 20-30 mph and gusts to 45 mph. Snow continues to pile up in the Sierra, with some foothills locations receiving six inches or more the past 24 hours. A Winter Storm Warning continues to be in effect for elevations above 2500 feet through tomorrow. Another 1-2 feet of snow are likely.
